Away from the bustle of the Plaza, Taos Country Inn sits at the end of a country road on the edge of a pasture with a perfect view of spectacular sunsets. Yolanda is the perfect hostess making sure everthing is perfect. The breakfast room decor alone is worth a visit (I'm not kidding). More

We stayed at the Country Inn between Christmas and New Year's with our 4 year old. The room was very nice and big. We spent two weeks driving from SLC to northern new mexico, and among numerous one-night stays in everything from 4 star hotels to at least one rather shabby motel, we found our stay in Taos Country Inn the best. This is a wonderful B&B outside of Taos. At night the coyotes howl and yip, but the local dogs also carry on sometimes. Lots of character in a genuine old southwest house/compound on back roads near Taos. You can see elk grazing in the evening from the back patio, and hear coyotes howl at night. Nice grounds.
