We really enjoyed our stay at Historic Taos Inn, with it's comfortable rooms decorated in southwestern decor. On Saturday night, some musicians and three flamingo dancers put on a wonderful floor show showcasing their culture in dance, song and dress. We loved it. Wonderul view from the balcony around the top floor. The interior design is so unique. Don't miss... More

We found the inn to be quiet and peaceful. It was hard to believe we were in the middle of downtown Taos. Our room was in the courtyard area and it was wonderful to listen to the birds in the morning. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The entertainment in the bar was great.... More

Overall, this is a good place. Historice old hotel w/ beam ceilings, kiva fireplaces (that don't operate) & decent prices. Close to the plaza & shops. The restraurant is good & it has the most popular bar in town. As other have stated, the bar is noisy (music every nite) so avoid the main Inn and any of the rooms... More

A quaint inn located in the historic district of Taos. Live music nightly in the hotel bar which doubles as the check in area. The night we checked in a small band was playing and the music was wonderful, however it was difficult to communicate with the front desk due to the noise. Having to shout at each other made... More

The Inn is in a great location. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. The room itself was ok for the price we paid. Our stay was enjoyable but probably wouldn't stay there again. More

Spend one night in an unbearably hot room on 31 March. Called the front desk to let them know that the room was hot and muggy. Jason came to the room trying to turn on the AC.....only to find out they had not been turned on yet. He said the heater was off and that we should open the windows.... More

I stayed here for 6 days while skiing and had a great time. The rooms were somewhat rustic, because it's an old adobe building, but they are comfortable and clean. (I always check for bedbugs- there were none.) I stayed in two different rooms because of a problem with the kiva fireplace in the first one not working right- they... More

I was traveling with a group recently, and we checked into the Taos Inn. Some of us were placed inside the main building which I think needs a complete overhaul. The floors were uneven, to the point if you stepped in one area you thought you were going to put your foot through the floor. The outside rooms seemed to... More

Imagine pulling up at the Taos Inn after an eight-hour road trip, and finding a cozy lobby filled with live music and a friendly crowd enjoying happy hour. We promptly found a table and ordered drinks and a plate of nachos. Welcome to Taos! That experience began a thoroughly enjoyable three night stay at the Taos Inn. Live music every evening,... More

The Adobe Bar and Doc Martin's Restaurant within the hotel are definitely worth a visit. The room that we occupied for several nights was okay--not good, not bad. Odd electrical wiring made turning on the lights a scavenger hunt/safecracking experience as one has to get all the switches in the room in the right string sequence to work. Housekeeping and...
