In a few lines, if I were to go back to sabi sands, it will be Idube. The staff, driver and tracker have been amazing. I don't eat meat and the Chef was great. Thoroughly enjoyed every moment there! More

My husband and I were lucky enough to be able to spend some time with Rudi and Melinda and their staff at Idube in January. It was the first time that either of us had been at a Private Game Lodge and we were so impressed by the professional staff at Idube. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. The... More

Great place, great staff, great rangers - they respect nature and they help you experiencing nature, animals - fauna and flora - at the very best. We will definitely come back. More

My partner and I stayed at Idube for 4 days between the 19th and 23rd October and we can honestly say it was the best holiday we have ever been on for a variety of reasons. To start, the staff are all fantastic, helpful and knowledgable about the surrounds. Rudy, Mel, Johandi, Andreis, Rob, Wessel and Titus were all incredible... More

What a wonderful experience here. We spent two nights in combination with our stay at Lukimbi and are we ever so glad we did. Idube differs quite markedly from Lukimbi in many ways. It is not nearly as glamorous, but makes up for that in the quality of game viewing available. Promise and Maurice did a wonderful job of helping... More

We spent 2 days at Idube and 2 days at Lukimbi. Both lodges are fantastic. Idube has the best game view and Lukimbi the best location for elephants and rhinos and because of the close river also for hippos and crocos! In Idube we saw the big 5 during our first 2 drives. Ranger Andreis and tracker "Eagle-eye"-Titus didn't miss... More

It was the best most awesome safari. My husband, kids 23 and 20 and I could find nothing but praise for idube, for Melinda, especially for our ranger, promise and " bait" Maurice ( tracker). People were always courteous, made us feel at home. Food was excellent, saw big five plus plus plus. More

SHE was so enthusiastic to please HIM; he had apparently been very busy with the ladies next door! However, the silky, very beautiful, female Leopard did not give up. She wanted those cubs. What a unique experience! 10 lion on a Buffalo kill; 5 cubs, different ages sneeking a tit- bit where they dared. Hyena pups on a Francolin kill;... More

I was in Africa for a month of work, needing to span the continent from Ghana to Uganda to Mozambique. I had three days between completing work in Uganda and presenting a paper in Mozambique, so I chose to take a three-day break - and birthday present to myself - by going to the Kruger, ZA area. As I scanned... More

Idube was a wonderful place. Nice facility, friendly courteous staff, excellent food and great game viewing. The Ranger (Andre) and his guide were terrific. They really knew the animals, plants and environment. More
