My husband and I had a relaxing visit to the Alpine Lodge. The town was quiet since it was between seasons but that is exactly what we needed this trip. We awoke in the morning to a beautiful sunrise and enjoyed coffee outside on the deck while watching deer graze on the mountain. Besides the outstanding view, the room was... More

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Alpine Lodge. It's within walking distance of the lift (but there's only a ticket kiosk at this lift, so if you have special ticket needs, get one first). We stayed in a small one bedroom cabin which was perfect for our needs. It was quiet, clean and nicely decorated. It needs a light... More

We had an absolutely great stay at the Alpine. Our cabin was perfect for our family with young children. We came to Red River so the children could play in the snow. The woman who helped with our reservation suggested the log cabin and she was absolutelly right. It was perfect for a family like ours. Inside, it had plenty... More

After XC skiing in the Enchanted Forest, we always enjoy staying at the Alpine Lodge in Red River. The rooms are consistently clean and comfortable and over the years, we have noticed that the place is well maintained. They have updated the bathrooms with tile and new fixtures, only wish they could have made them larger. This trip they had... More

Don't be fooled by the name into thinking this is the Alpine Villas at Taos Ski Valley or anything Alpine like. I've skied for 20 years in the Alps an the French, Swiss and Italians would be embarrassed to be associated with such a place. The main reception and small lobby area was distinctly unwelcoming, and considering this is in... More

We stayed 3 nights at Alpine Lodge (originally booked 2 nights but was able to easily add 1 additional night after arrival). Cathy was very friendly and helpful at the check in desk. The room was adequate - kitchen could use a few items - strainer, better can opener and larger coffee pot - but we were quite happy with... More

We stayed for a weekend ski trip, a decent value. Location is perfect. You can walk to the Platinum lift. Restaurants are all within walking distance. There are many types of rooms. Our two bedroom kitchenette was clean and adequately furnished though creativity is required with the sparse cooking implements. The staff was friendly and helpful. Only drawbacks, uncomfortable old... More

Great location. 2nd time staying here. Super close to main chair lift. You can walk to every decent restaurant in town. This is no 5 star hotel, but it is a cute bavarian themed set up. They recently put in flat screen TV's Only wish is for better pillows. More

I stayed here for one night in February to go skiing. The room was a great price and it was clean and comfortable. We had a room with a gas fireplace, which was nice. The ski area is set up such that you could stay at several different hotel/lodges (including this one) and be within walking distance to one of... More

We have always enjoyed our stay at the Alpine. We have always chosen their cabins with the convenience of having a kitchen. This time we chose the 3 bedroom, we travel with our son and his 2 best friends - this cabin has been our favorite thus far. Very roomy, and the one bedroom has 2 bunk beds, and a... More
