This hotel backs up to a river that flows through Farmington and has a nice river walk. Ao e of the common areas seemed dated. The Marriott Courtyard must be new; it is the same quality as other Marriott Courtyards -- clean, good bathroom (shower) and WiFi reception. I would prefer a better light over the sink -- one that allows you see what make-up I am putting on. What is improved is a real snack bar with real people taking your order for breakfast.... More

This is like a 5 star hotel. What a fabulous room on the river - with a wonderful terrace. The 7 miles of river park is just glorious, makes you feel like you are in a special place. The hotel is just lovely and aesthetic with great accommodations and excellent hospitality and run very well.

I was delightfully surprised by the marketplace breakfast. Hotel was clean, well looked after and bustling in the morning hours. More than I ever expected for the price we paid. Only down side was the small refrigerator in our room looked to be leftover, it was clean but well used.
