We discovered this hidden gem and it was wonderful! The staff was friendly and efficient, our site was beautiful and level..bathrooms/showers were spotless..they even limit showers to 7 minutes to conserve water..in talking to the owners. Debra & Bradley, they mean for this park to be GREEN...they have recycling bins, low flow toilets, front load washers in the laundry room... More

We had a very pleasant stay. Unfortunately, had to leave a week earlier than planned. Sites are well-maintained, clean, and level. Did not have to use leveling jacks in site #29 (best site in the campground!). Office employees were friendly and knowledgable about the area. Museum on-site is interesting. More

Camping in the Middle of a Trashy Neighborhood Tent "sites" (more like tent spots - not numbered) are sprinkled around in a field area that has some juniper trees here and there for shade. Sites accessed by a deeply rutted dirt road (more like path). The tent sites have a charcoal grill (no fire rings) and a warped old wooden... More

Turquoise Trail is what camping used to be like, and SHOULD be like! Only 25 minutes E. of Albuquerque, & along a National Senic Byway, its a quiet hidden GEM! Nestled at the base of the cool Sandia Mountians, tucked in mature juniper, and pinon pine, Nature abounds here! Hummingbirds, wild flowers, star filled skies, and coyotes in the distance that howl you... More

Nice place to stay even when it is off season, just found it to be expensive for the amenities. Very rustic so don't plan to have any heat in the bath house. Beautiful sky view which we enjoyed until the wee hours. More

Turquoise trail RV park and campground is a great place to stay. It is quiet, safe, and the people are very nice. The ambiance is really wonderful - surrounded by cedar trees and pinion and at the foot of the mountain. It was very low key and relaxing. I like the fact that it is only 15 minutes to town... More

Every August the Turquoise Trail Campground and RV Park is the site for a vintage trailer rally called the Trailer Trash Bash. A local Albuquerque vintage trailer club- Southwest Vintage Camper Association- hosts the event. O7 will be our fourth year there. We love the space around our trailers, the shower room that makes you feel like your are CAMPING... More
