The room was more than acceptable at this hotel. The food was o.k. but nothing special. The real downside of this hotel is that the town of Khuruthang, where it is located, is just not very nice so, after a brief walk through town, we retreated to the hotel for the remainder of our one evening here. On the plus... More

I was in Bhutan in November, 2012 and thought this was one of the better hotels where I stayed. I was sharing a room and we each had a large, comfortable bed in a large room. The view was nice and the staff were nice as well.

This was the worst of our Bhutan accommodations. Oddly, it is owned by the royal family and falls below most Bhutan standards that we saw. The rooms are very basic and very worn. The beds are horribly hard. The food was average. The setting on the river was lovely but the town is very dirty with absolutely no attractions. A... More

If you look at the attached photo of this hotel, you would see the best feature instantly - i.e. outside with the flowers. I hear that the owner is busy building a new hotel to replace this one because of the perennial fear of flooding. He is letting the condition of this hotel slip with no intention to sell. One... Stayed here for two nights while touring Bhutan Our room was large but was in the central block over the reception area which amplified all the noise in the lobby. There is no bar area and they try and get you out of the restaurant by 9pm so the lobby is the only place for people to socialise - we... More

This was a great location and a huge room which was terrific when there are two of you and need to sort clothes out. Good shower too. Friendly staff are really helpful. Unfortunately, food not as good as other places we have tried in Bhutan. Evening meal lacklustre and breakfast so so.

We were in room 209, which was spacious and had a great view of the river. The staff was friendly and tried hard to be helpful. The food was alright and when we asked for Indian cuisine, they did their best. The only downside was no Internet service, at least when we were there.

I stayed here with my family after checking out of another hotel, which was terrible.the river side location is a solace ,and our room was on the ground floor, facing the river. We had the room cleaned thoroughly, and got the sheets changed. The staff did respond, compared to the other hotel, service was better. The rooms are spacious, with basic facilities.wi fi service is available,The restaurant serves good... location of the resort could not have been better . on the riverside , it is such a romantic location . the rooms are spacious and so are the bathrooms . occupancy too is good but what i don't understand is why the management is indifferent . they could easily make the rooms more comfortable and clean . it could... Stayed here for one night during a recent 10 day trip to Bhutan. Compared to the other hotels and resorts, this place was extremely poor in quality and service. The first room I got had loose taps in the bathroom, many of the lights didn't work and the toilet wouldn't flush. I mentioned this to the front desk who then... More
