The hotel is very cheap, and if you don't plan to spend any time in it other than sleep, it works. Perhaps the most peculiar aspect was the tiny windows with mottled glass so you couldn't see out--in a hotel with views of the Mekong Delta! Go figure. We picked this on the Rough Guide recommendation that it was 'smart', which it wasn't! It was a bit shabby and grubby - not unhygenic, necessarily, but not very comfortable either. But we did go for one of the cheaper rooms, which was small, and very cluttered with furniture. A pretty good location for walking down through the fantastic market... More
