It's very good, cheap mid-range hotel with free wi-fi, very helpful, pleasant staff and good view to the city. The city itself is off the beaten tourist track which is exciting, because we had a chance to see how real Thailand looks like. It was very different from other touristic places we have visited More

I stayed here with my girlfriend while wandering around thailand. We ended up in the thai hotel after arriving in the city - a city with very few hotels and western food outlets which was nice to see. The hotel staff were super friendly even if English was not commonly spoken (I only saw 2 other foreigners in my 3... More

The Thai Hotel is easy to find, it rises up from the wholesale/market area between Nakhon Si Thammarat station and the main road, Ratchadamnoen, with highly visible signage. I arrived in need of a good night's sleep and asked reception if they had a quiet room. Although I was politely told no, this is a city hotel with city noise,... More

Did not see any of the other hotel options in town, but am quite happy about his Place. Staff is friendly, although their English isn't great. Rooms are clean and cleaned daily if you want them to. The ac rooms are good value for money for 450 baht. If you stay here, be sure to press the 2 or 3... More

The Thai Hotel offers basic, clean rooms with or without all the amenities and a central location. The train station is a block away, it has the main songtau route on one side and a walking street with food and trinkets available most hours of the day and night. Rooms are plain and dated but clean and adequately appointed and... More

There are few hotel options in Nakhon, and the Thai is amongst the better. The furnishings and decor of the hotel are tired. The facilities speak towards Soviet era styling. But, the staff do clean reasonably well. The rooms are quiet(ish), but the bathrooms could do with a bleach makeover (funny that SE Asian hotels seem not to know the... More

Staff is not friendly, they only understand English when it's in their favour. Rooms are not clean, how do I noticed? My feet were black, but seriously black as I walked around in the room. A mice was also present in the walls which kept you up all night! Now if you don't want to pay much, say like 300... More
