For the last years, me and my fellow travellers have always stayed and liked the Orange Lion of old for their warm atmosphere, staff friendliness and old Dutch charm. I have also given good reviews in the past. However, a not so cordial encounter with one of the members of the new hotel management has left me with an impression... More

We are very sorry to lose your business. Your review stems from the fact that you frequently asked for a large discount for you and your entire group when you were aware of our rates ahead of time. When you did not get the discount you were seeking with one staff member you would ask another staff member when the... More

I have stayed at Grand Central twice now and I can honestly say it is one of the best hotels in AC and I have seen most of them. The rooms are newly decorated to a tastefully high standard with a huge T.V., excellent security, great views (both front and back rooms) and most of all the beds are superb.... More

I have stayed here twice, the first time was a bit troublesome because they were just finishing up renovations. (however the rates were lower to compensate) The last time i stayed here was beginning of January. Everything was good. It is a small hotel that does cater to their customers. Unlike some large hotels, the customer actually gets to know... More

I stayed at the Grand Central hotel last July and it is by far my favorite hotel in Angeles. The location is awsome, right in the middle of Feilds Ave. While there I happend to meet the manager Justin, I was very impressed with his professionalism. Every request I made was taken care of in a timely manner. From ashtrays... More

I think that considering the price and location, rooms are not bad. However, I felt some inconveniences. you can only charge rooms to your credit card. There is a restaurant on the first floor of the hotel, but for the food (eat-in or the room service) , you have to pay cash. You can not charge the food to your... More

Hello, thank you for your review or our property. I wanted to respond to your points so that the next guest can learn more from your trip. With regards to the room service, the restaurant is owned by a separate group and at this time they have not installed a point of sale system to run with the hotel's credit... More

Well what can i say. The old "Orange Lion", now the Grand Central" promises the world and delivers nothing. Rooms has been newly refubished. Well job done poorly. Cracked and loose tiles everywhere. The hotel gives you 2 bath towels only. Yes correct 2 bath towels. No hand towels at all. You go to the toilet or just wash your... More

Hello Glenn - we appreciate your criticisms, they help us improve our facilities for future guests. We apologize for the confusion regarding your final room charges. Our front desk did not collect your entire stay upon arrival and that seems to have lead to your general distaste of our property. We are a very busy hotel and the whole problem... More

I usually stay away from the strip because I was under the impression that the strip hotels weren't as nice as some of the hotels that are out of the action. I found out that I was wrong. The place rocked. It is much less hectic to walk out of the hotel and be in the middle of the strip... More

This place has nice everything! From the rooms to the food, and not to mention the location, I can't say enough. Terrific bed. TV rocks. Awesome shower and cold air conditioning. The staff is friendly and accomodating - Western management is on site daily. Great times all around. I just wish there were more rooms! It is hard to get... More

I vacation in Angeles every October and have stayed at the Orange Lion in Angeles City for the past 5 years and always came back because of the location and value. As usual, I booked on their website but was a little upset that they had increased their price about $15 since last years trip. I sure was in for... More
