What a wonderful setting for a truly elegant casual overnight stay. Adorable region boasting vineyards, great restaurants, shopping and relaxed atmosphere. Frank & Ruth ( guest house owners) are so welcoming, accommodating, and ready to help in any way. The breakfasts are perfect w/no exceptions. If traveling to South Africa and visiting Franschhoek - Rusthof is the place to stay!

Ruth and Frank McCourt have created a beautiful setting. We loved everything, the staff, food and accomodations. We hope to return in the near future. Breakfast was great and Ryan's Kitchen in the evening was spectacular!

Wonderful location for exploring Franschhoek and its many 'eateries' on foot. Wonderfully spacious rooms beautifully decorated. Warm and friendly staff always prepared to help and advise. Quiet courtyard and pool area great for sunbathing. Breakfasts very good.

A warm welcome, to a very relaxed environment - just what we needed. Excellent, spacious room. Private courtyard with pool and suntrap. Really, enjoyed the wine tasting trip with Frank.
