The rooms still good but food was terrible. Dry overcooked Chicken, very poor. Lovely grey diningroon chairs badly stained Tried to order room service, an hour later they said too busy and could not do room service.

I have stayed at this hotel every May for the past 4 years. This year however I have to say that I feel the always high standard seems to be slipping a bit. Internet is not free. The safe in my room doesn`t even have a lock on. The slippers have been used and are not even matching. The heating... More

What a wonderful hotel. The staff couldn't have done more to help. We were upgraded when we arrived the room was georgous albeit the bed a little hard and a nice thick mattress topper would have been nice. We were given a lot of information as to what vineyards to go to and where to eat. Views were stunning from... More

What a beautiful hotel! We were treated like royalty. Our room was large and comfortably furnished with a really nice spacious bathroom with bath and shower and all the little extras like shower cap and body lotion etc. We had our own balcony with a beautiful view of the trees in autumn colours and the mountains right behind them. Unfortunately... More

The hotel is beautifully situated on a hill overlooking the Franschhoek Valley. Our room was lovely and featured a private balcony. While we did not have the occasion to use the spa, we did have a delicious meal at the hotel's restaurant, "Dish." Note: visitors with a physical limitation should note there is no lift/elevator in the hotel. Special kudos... More

Stay over with my family. Room was okay, but nothing special. Bar fridge was empty, tried to call room service, but no response. Breakfast was of average quality. Setting outside Franshoek, a bit far to walk if you want to go to town and restaurants.

Le Franschoek was a fabulous three night stay for us. We were in Franschoek for a wedding and stayed at Le Franschoek with the rest of the wedding guests. The wedding was at a winery near by. We had a fabulous room away from the main building in the gardens.  It gave our kids (5 & 2) some lovely gardens... More
