We stayed at Avondrood for three nights and it is a wonderful place to stay. Aukje & Jarno are perfect hosts and helpful in order to things to do in the region or reserve restauratn, etc. We can highly recommend the place, it is central in Franschoek and all restaurants and shops are walking distance.

We started our Cape Town honeymoon with 3 days at Avondrood and it was the perfect beginning to our holiday. Really good service, lovely interior design, great scenary from the garden, 30 seconds walk from Franschhoek high street. Jarno and Aukje gave us some excellent recommendations of vineyards and restaurants. Can't wait to go back :-)

A beautiful place with pleasant garden, swimming pool, jacuzzi and views of the Franschhoek Mountains. We stayed for 3 nights and really loved the place. Great attention to detail on the decoration of the rooms, luxurious, roll top bath and a very grand sink in the bathroom.
