My boyfriend surprised me on Thursday evening before the long weekend to say he'd booked a cottage in Franschhoek for the weekend. We had stayed at various other cottages and guesthouses on our previous visits, but nothing compares to the Blueberry Hill cottages. Our very friendly hostess was there to meet us as we arrived and showed us to our... More

I've been working in South Africa and my husband came over to join me for Easter so we wanted to go somewhere really special. My heart was set on Franchoek but I wanted somewhere we could come and go as we pleased rather than a hotel. I spoke to Claire on the phone who could not have been more helpful.... More

Having studied the web site, photos, and checked Trip Advisor, we were thrilled when Clare offered us Olive Cottage for our stay. All correspondence and deposit payment related specifically to Olive cottage. We were excited by the large patio it had, and the spectacular straight -on view of the mountains as shown on Management's titled photos. On the day we... More

This place is stunning the views are wonderful, rose cottage was very comfortable and Claire the manager was very accommodating and kind towards our little family of four. Shame the pool wasnt in working order at the time we stayed there but otherwise a wonderful place to stay.

We stayed in the Olive Cottage for two nights, and wanted to spend every free minute outside on the patio or in the infinity pool, enjoying the stunning views and the scent of the lavender. The cottage was comfortably equipped with linens and kitchen items, and we definitely would have enjoyed a longer stay! Claire was available for anything we... More

Stayed in Lavender Cottage at Bluberry Hill. Disappointed to only have a one night stay; it would be very easy to spend much much longer in such a lovely place. The real treat at Blueberry Hill is the spectacular view - you would do well to find accommodation anywhere with such a beautiful view. The cottage itself was very homely,... More

Lavender grows like weeds in this place. Its amazing. Stayed in Lavender cottage at Blueberry Hill. A very charming spot nestled between lush plants looking out over your own vineyard with mountains surrounding it all. It was casual but smart which is a breath of fresh air in Franschoek. Kitchen, 3 bedroom, Fireplace, Patio, courtyard, braai. Fantastic swimming pool too.... More

Blueberry Hill Cottages are a special find. We stayed in Lavender Cottage which is a charmingly decorated three-bedroom cottage with two bathrooms and fireplace. The cottages are located on a wine farm and overlook the vineyard and the Drakenstein mountains. There's plenty of space to enjoy as there is a lovely courtyard in the back and big veranda in the...
