Stayed there for 2 days with my daughter, they where very friendly and the place was very clean and comfortable. Not " fancy" but definitely value for money.

Historic and unique. I've stayed in hostels and Guest houses throughout Europe but this ranks as one of the more unique and wonderful stays I've ever had. It is also located in the lovely village of Franschhoek with lots of great eateries and vineyards close by. Great value for the money, even during world cup.

We needed an overnight stop to attend an evening wedding in Franschhoek. This was the perfect place. An historical old building which was once the school boarding house. It's basic but the room was spotless with the most comfortable bed and crisp white linen. Quite a unique experience. Very friendly and helpful management too.

The accommodation is basic but we we happy with our comfortable, clean and spacious room, and shower/toilet facilities that functioned perfectly.
