The Sea Chest Motel was great. Its an average shore motel room. The price was also great...4 nights during 4th of July week was under $500. It was super clean and the staff was great. They were so friendly...we loved them!!! Its about a block away from the beach and about two blocks away from a park and bike rentals.

The Sea Chest Motel desperately needs to be updated. The rooms smell of mildew, which I assume is due to the aging carpets, which could inexpensively be replaced by linoleum. The water in the sinks smells as though the pipes are rusting, and the toilets only flush if the stars align (about once every 3-4 minutes-apart-tries). The "linens" smell awful,... More

Didn't even have a chance to see what the motel is all about b/c reservation was cancelled by owner saying my credit card was declined. I called credit card company and they said no attempts were made. If you want a reliable place to stay, don't count on this motel!

I enjoyed my stay at this little motel, the poeple were nice, nothing but families usually, it is the last of its kind in the area since everything is turning into condos. The owners are fair people. It is also kept clean unlike some other places I have been to.
