My girlfriend and I come here every year now. We were enticed my the Ad. for "where heaven meets earth" We both love it here! Don't be expecting any fancy standard looking room. This place is everything it should be. Yes the furniture is eclectic-but comfortable. I have stayed in different rooms here and found them all to be clean.... More

Stayed here for a mountain getaway, close to hiking. For what it is - a nice older, well maintained rural motel, it is an excellent place to stay! Not your typical box-like chain hotel next to the freeway! Clean rooms, comfortable beds, good water pressure, plenty of hot water, quieter than expected rooms, beautiful property (nice little waterfall and screend-in gazebo,... More

Upon arrival I was warmly greeted by the owner Mike and the caretaker Ron. Also I was lovingly greeted by the two mascots (dogs) Murphy and Bear Bear. The atmosphere was very relaxing in the mountains of New Jersey. The service was excellent and the rooms were very comfortable and clean. Ron and Mike were very helpful directing me to... More

Don't let bad reviews deter you from staying at The High Point Country Inn. If you are looking for a posh hotel with big screens, hot tubs and room service, this is not the place for you. But it is exactly what it says it is...a country inn! Perfect place for hunters, hikers, etc. and anyone looking to get some... More

One of the worst experiences of my life. My uncle had passed away and was being waked at a local funeral home. I called the funeral home to ask if they could reccomend a hotel closest to them, church and cemetery as my siblings and our spouses were all coming from out of town and did not know the area.... We packed up the whole family for a weekend get-away to High Point State Park. The Inn is about a mile away from the park and sits on a hit so that you have a good view from the property. If you're expecting the Hilton, you'll be disappointed, but if you're used to rustic accomodations, you'll be pleased. I don't... More

I booked this inn because it was so close to the High Point State Park. I would never EVER STAY THERE AGAIN! This place looks nice on the outside when ur pulling up, but as for the rooms, were talking something out of a horrow movie. Spiders in the room everywhere (killed 7 before my 2 day stay was up),... HPCI is not right on the interstate as many travelers seem to like nowadays... it's on the wrong side of HighPoint Mtn for that. The rooms are furnished in what I'd call garage sale bargains. The beds were comfortable (not garage sale stuff), but the pillows were the hardest I've ever slept on (the place need a woman's touch in... More

Driving through the area, we needed a place to stop for the night. We noticed the property as we drove by, and when the place was recommended by a waitress in town, we decided to book a room. It served its purpose. The surroundings are beautiful. The room was outdated. The coffee creamer was bad, which seems trivial but it... More
