The location on Route 1 makes this hotel a great choice for business travel. As with all Route 1 hotels its a bit convoluted to get to off the jug handles but overall its very convenient especially coming in from Newark.

I stayed only one night on business. I typically stay at the Homewood suites next door and it is comparable in price. For me the hotel was simply average. The staff makes this motel more. Whether it is a late check in or a quick breakfast, the group of long-term staff as well as the newer staff members do every thing they can to make sure you stay is nice.

Nice staff, especially Summer, who I believe was front desk manager - more importantly, she acted like she was in charge. What great folks and great service. Agreed - the setup of the breakfast/restaurant situation is not ideal, but food and service was good. Good clean business hotel for a good price.
