a hide away in the quiet beauty of the rolling foothills of Northwest New Jersey makes you feel like you are hundreds of miles away from NYC but it's just a short drive. We've been to many B&Bs along the US east coast and this is among the best. Innkeeper/owners were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were quiet and comfortable.... More

This was our first experience at a Bed and Breakfast. We were amazed at how comfortable we felt. The Wooden Duck is a special place. We'll be back!

This was my first experience at a B&B and it will NOT be my last. Jim & Trina were wonderful hosts, the facility was clean & very comfortable. The breakfasts were absolutely great!

As a former manager in the hotel industry, I am very particular when it comes to service, cleanliness, hospitality, and accommodations when I travel. I currently do a lot of business travel and had the opportunity to stay at the Wooden Duck Inn. The managers were incredibly accommodating and hospitable. I had to attend early morning events on the weekend,... More

What a lovely place run by a welcoming, friendly couple. Breakfast was fabulous too! Good old railway track walking from the door.

This place is less than an hour from New York City!!!!! My husband and I had already stayed at several hotels on our trip and thought this would be a nice break. The couple that owned the B&B were so welcoming and informative. We had a lovely room which was spotless and a gorgous view of the property. We usually... More

We have been delighted to read the positive reviews of our guests' experiences with Jim and Trina at the Wooden Duck. Naturally, we were apprehensive when we hired innkeepers to run the B&B in our place, and we are pleased at how well they are treating everyone. Clearly, the inn is in good hands as evidenced by these recent reviews.... More

My wife surprised me with a night away from the kids and we stayed here. When we first arrived, Jim and Trina welcomed us with warm southern hospitality. Our room was gorgeous and most importantly, QUITE! We had a gas fireplace in our room which separated the bedroom from the big hot tub. Breakfast in the morning was better than... More

Came down here on a Saturday afternoon to escape the city for a day. We had a wonderful time on the hiking trails attached to the property, then went to a nice dinner on Lake Mohawk and finishing it off with a relaxing evening at the wooden duck. Jim and Trinia are fantastic hosts and they certainly make you feel... More
