After a few bad experiences in motels on our visit to the USA this was just the medicine we needed. A beautiful place and friendly staff. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It is in the colonial style and very impressive. I am so glad we stayed there. A special thanks to the front of house staff who made... More

We stayed at the Colts Neck Inn, for our 25th anniversary, in a king suite. It sounded so charming. The water pressure and temperature in the shower was poor. The room was not very well lit. There weren't many outlets in the room and some of them didn't work. Breakfast consisted of bagels and donuts only. There was an "old... More

I consider myself a heavy traveler. Probably at least ten nights a month in a hotel. I've stayed in everything from one star to five stars. This place is probably a 1.5, but charges like it's a 4 star. It says in the room that it's remodeled. The bathroom is old and dingy at best, faucet was falling apart in... More

So the positives is that it is easy to find and the staff is helpful and friendly. I was in town for a wedding so I did not need much help but they were nice and accommodating. Negatives: for $150 I would expect a little more than what I got. The water smelled really bad---they said it was fine to... More

I stay here from time to time. Very convenient for golfers with 4 plus excellant courses within a mile circle. The rooms are fine and the staff helpful and friendly. There is a fine steak and chop+ restaurant on the grounds with a full service bar. What else does one need? The price is reasonable considering what an expensive area... More

It was nice to get away from the kids. The hotel is quiet in the winter. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. Dinner next door was fabulous and the bed was sooo comfortable. It was a treat to get away. More

New Jersey is experiencing a problem with stink bugs, as reported in the Asbury Park Press on September 28, 2010. The Colts Neck Inn Hotel works continuously with an exterminator to keep away any insects. Also, due to the current bed bug infestation in New York City, the Colt Neck Inn conducts daily tests to ensure that any unwanted pests... More

Nice quaint old fashioned hotel in an affluent area of New Jersey. Had an overnight stay whilst visiting by boss who lives in the area. The hotel is brick and wood built in a very old world, old money American style. The room was large with a large TV; the bath room was also large. The hotel advertised as it... More

Colt's Neck is a beautiful place with golf clubs and horse stables. From the outside this hotel looks nice - but it is run down. We asked the woman at the desk where a certain golf club was - she did not even know and did not attempt to find out. The rooms are motel rooms - all they tried... More

We weren't planning on staying at this hotel, but arrived late at night in Colts Neck, called and they had a vacancy. The hotel is very well decorated throughout, from the lobby/entrance to the individual rooms themselves. The room was comfortable and inviting. The King bed was very nice, very comfortable and perfect for a good night's sleep. The Front... More
