My wife and I spent our one year anniversary in Cape May at the beautiful Gingerbread House. It was our first experience at a bed and breakfest and thanks to Joan, Fred, and Mckinnley we would definitely go again. Their hospitality was first class, the flowerbeds were kept to perfection, and inside the house was adorned with antiques and flowers.... More

I love the Gingerbread House! My boyfriend and I went down to Cape May at the end of May. Our room was very lovely and well maintained. I only interacted with Fred briefly but his wife, Jean and the other innkeeper, McKinsey were very friendly and helpful about suggesting activities and recommending restaurants. This B&B is located in the historic... More

My partner and I decided very last minute to head down to Cape May for our one year anniversary. Having never been before (and it being the eleventh hour), we were unsure of what sort of accommodations we should expect or would even be available. The Gingerbread House was an absolute Godsend! We could never have imagined or predicted just... More

My husband and I just returned from Cape May and for the second year we stayed at the Gingerbread House. The location is perfect for getting around town. We parked our car when we arrived and didn't move it until the day we left. You can walk/bike ride just about everywhere in Cape May. The inn keepers Joan, Fred, and... More

We loved our stay at the Gingerbread House! Jean, thank you so much for being so hospitable and the breakfast was delicious. My wife and I only went down for a night over Memorial Day weekend, but next time we will definitely be staying for longer. We are frequent travelers (both in the US and Internationally) and would rank this... More

No matter how my life is going, I always feel great when I go to Cape May. I really enjoyed talking to the other guests at the Gingerbread House, and with especially with Joan, Fred and Mckinsey. Our room was very nice, and it was meticulously maintained. Less than a block from the beach, we spent most of our time... More

We fell in love with the Cape on our first visit here. Gingerbread House a large part of the beauty. Half a block from the beach entrance is great for my early morning walks and the 9AM breakfast fits Marilyn's schedule for slow start to the day. Room was comfortable and since we were the only guests on the third... More

We had a really pleasant time at the Ginger Bread House. You couldn't ask for a better location. The breakfasts were yummy and the conversations around the table so interesting. The room was clean and cozy. Fred, Joan, and their helper (I've forgotten her name -she was very sweet) worked hard to make us very comfortable. We will return!
