My husband and I wanted to do a single night trip to Cape May for a little us time. The innkeeper worked with us and we had a lovely room on the 3rd floor that looked at on 2 sides over the ocean. There was another couple there but they were out and we spent a quiet afternoon shopping, which... More

Stayed at King's Cottage back in mid-April and had a great time. Weather wasn't great but the place was. Dan and Barbara are the perfect B&B hosts. I've stayed at many B&B's and these guys are right up there with the best of them. They are there when you need them to offer great advice on where to eat and... More

I just got back from a one night stay to celebrate my 50th birthday. I had never stayed in a bed and breakfast and this was a wonderful first experience. Barb and Dan was very friendly and we spent sometime talking to them and found them very enjoyable and very knowledgable The room was very charming and the bed was... More

we usually travel a lot and stay in big city hotels but when visiting Cape May, this B&B was perfect. Its what Cape May is all about...Victorian, comfortable with wrap around porch. The owners bake each morning and waking up to the sound of the ocean and fresh baked goods, was so nice. They provided chairs and towels and we... More

The host and hostess were quite nice and helpful. This is an older home and not a luxurious spot. The view from our balcony was worth it all! More

This place was a last minute booking for us and based on some reviews we thought we'd give it a shot. 1. It was filthy - dust was either flying through the air of clung to something that had been sitting in the same place for years. 2. The inn keepers were very odd... 3. 'Breakfast' was served at 9:50am!... More

I spent the first wk of Aug. there. Barbara, Dan, and Roseanne were attentive and devoted to their guests. The full breakfast was right out of gourmet magazine. The 4PM refreshments were a treat to look forward to-especially those freshly baked cookies. The rooms were comfortably furnished. It was very pleasant to sit out in the solarium and see and... More

My Husband and I stayed here to celebrate our one year wedding annniversary. We stayed in Room # 5. The room was comfortable, clean, and had lovely antique touches. The bathroom was spacious with a tub and shower. One of the best things about the King's Cottage is that some of the rooms come with an onsite parking spot! A... More

The King's Cottage is in a great part of town and maintained well. The half block to the beach is a huge plus! The fact they offer an outdoor shower (hot and cold), beach chairs, and towels makes this a recommended stay for me. The innkeeper (Barbara) is very nice and accommodating as she does a great job of making... More

We have been coming to Cape May for several years for our Mother-Daughter weekend and have stayed at several different B&B's and the Kings Cottage made us feel most welcomed and at home. Dan, Barbara and Roseanne were the friendliest Inn Keepers anyone could ask for. The breakfasts were delicious and the rooms were all very nice and comfortable. We... More
