This Inn is super. The over night rooms are quaint and relaxing, I especially love the breakfasts and the dinners are the best ever. Thank you Becky, Charlie and Paris for a memorable Stay again. Paris made our yummy Caesar Salad table side. I tried the Elk. I was pleasantly surprised.

The B&B is in a great location. Near restaurants and shopping, great views, and abuts the snowshoe and cross country trails. Breakfast is included, but we received a bill the first day which confused us and we skipped the next day's breakfast thinking it wasn't included - turns out it was. There is a restaurant on site, which we didn't... More

We stayed at the 1785 Inn for the first time as we planned to go to the annual Chocolate Festival. I don't agree that this is a quaint and comfortable place . . . We were told that we got the last room available which was one of the more expensive rooms on the second floor. Supposedly, it was more... More

Let's see- $69 for a quaint inn with 3 fireplaces, great breakfast, free x-country ski passes, and an amazing award winning restaurant that has the best flaming drinks to drink by the fire! Friendly inn keepers! Becky does an amazing job decorating for Christmas. Love the chocolate tour- by the way they have the best chocolate dessert on the tour!... More

Stayed in this place just before Hallowe'en so it was decorated with pumpkins as scarecrows outside. Lovely old building so the rooms were a bit small but well serviced (it's a B&B after all) - we were at the back of the place. Downstairs is a splendid bar which was busy with locals and a big bonus of having several... More

My wife and I went to this B&B for our 1st Anniversary last week....it was nothing like what we were expecting. The room was tiny, the mattress formed a "V" in the middle when we were in it, there was no heat in the bathroom and we lost power twice just in our room. To me the worst part was... More

We thoroughly enjoyed the comfort of our room. It was nice to rest, and when we wanted to join civilization, we played cribbage in one of the Inn 's little side rooms. We enjoyed a special drink each evening before dinner in the Inn's pub like bar. We especially were delighted at the onset of the special feel of the... More

We just got home from a quick 2 night trip to the 1785 Inn. We needed a couple of days away and wanted to do a little Christmas shopping. This was our second time staying here this year as we try to get away here at least two times a year. Our room was very clean and lovely with a... More

We spent the Thanksgiving weekend in North Conway and stayed at the 1785 Inn. It was the exact opposite from a big, hotel chain and we loved it. We met the proprietors right off the bat when we checked in and saw them several times around the inn during our stay as they readied the inn with holiday decorations. Everything... More
