We decided to take a winter vacation that was within driving distance, included outdoor winter activities, indoor water activities and shopping. This was the perfect Northeast destination. The resort was beautiful, staff was fantastic, skiing was great for our kids - who are beginners ( 4 and 10 years old ) - lodging was spacious ( with character ) and... More

Spring skiing was tough with record high temps, but the Purity Spring staff worked hard to make it work. Accommodations were simple but clean and comfortable. Ski area was not crowded and staff was great. The tubing was fun until the snow melted but they even opened it just for us. Pool and other amenities were convenient but the restaurant... More

A nice place to stay if you have young kids. We stayed in the lodging at the base of King Pine. The kids loved the view. You take a shuttle (2 min. ride) down the street for meals, but they'll also pack a box lunch at your request. Outdoor skating across the street in a barn. Pool is available, though... More

My husband and I have skied at King Pine for years, and there was no question that Purity Springs was the winning location for our fall wedding. Throughout the wedding planning process the staff was welcoming, friendly, and more than accomodating. We had many guests who travelled from all over New England for the weekend, ranging from young couples to... More

we stayed just after christmas with three kids - the promise of iceskating and free sleigh rides. No skating. No sleigh rides. No apologies for either. Corridor outside room stank of cigarettes. Room smelled stale. Decor old, dark and shabby. Nylon-feel sheets. Peeling paint in bathroom. Swimming pool felt unclean. Service ranging from nice to unbelievably unfriendly. Overall the rates... My husband had to go on a trip to Boston, and having been to NH before, we decided to take a little side trip in the middle of the week to experience winter in New England. We found Purity Springs online back in December, read some good reviews, and also discovered they were celebrating their 100th year as a resort!... More

Thank you so much for your wonderful review of Purity Spring Resort. As a family-owned resort for over 100 years, we take a great amount of pride in providing the same service and accommodations which previous generations of our family worked so hard to create. We're glad that you were able to discover our little piece of heaven in the... More

Have a group that come each Nov. We have been moved from one site to another for many different reasons....have NEVER had a smooth check-in or check-out. When we first visited Purity Springs, we fell in love with the place. Lovely views, quaint lodging and good meals, all reasonably priced. Sadly, it has not continued to be a happy experience... More

The room were little smaller and overall its a decent place to stay. The property is scattered and so if you want to use the amenities you have to drive 0.5 miles :) The only problem i had was with the noise level at night and the thin walls. Every time someone is moving around the hallway and going in... More

Went there for a friend's wedding all the way from Europe (Portugal). It is so nice! You have a lot of things to do around, there is an enormous lake where you have a lot of activities. plus swimming pool, tennis court, etc... The rooms were a little bit poor, but when you are on vacation none one that matters!... More

We have enjoyed the weekend after Labor Day at Purity Springs--a ballrom dance weekend--for several years. The weekend includes accomodations, an excellent menu for all meals, wonderful ballroom dancing and instruction! The staff are welcoming and do a great job in all areas. In addition, they have a great lake to swim, kyack or canoe plus many other amenities. Though... More
