While house hunting in the area, it has been a joy to visit the Breakfast on the Connecticut. Charming Hosts. Nice peaceful rooms. The sink and showers set up is a big strange, but everything else make up for it. Thank you!!

Although the ski part of our ski getaway didn't work out as well as we had hoped (thanks Mother Nature!) we greatly enjoyed our night at Breakfast on the Connecticut. We received a warm welcome and plenty of suggestions for alternate activities when we realized our hopes of skiing weren't going to pan out. The breakfast was wonderful - Donna...

Thank you so much for your generous review. Shortly after you left the entire Northeast was hit with Storm Nemo leaving all ski areas with wonderful powder. I am sorry that you missed all the new snow. We hope to see you again and maybe next time if the snow conditions are not the best we can convince you to...

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights while attending the Grand Opening of King Arthur flour addition.
Donna and John could not have been more helpful. They were most attentive to our needs. We have stayed here several times in the past for our "getaways".
Breakfasts cannot be beat and the views from this B&B are spectacular.
Thanx...

Breakfast was terrific...choice from the grill was waffles with fresh strawberries or a vegetable omelet...we both had the waffles and they tasted great and were beautifully presented. John gave us great advice on a running route and where to eat dinner. Wish we could have stayed longer, but we'll...

We just returned from a most delightful stay at Breakfast on the Connecticut. Donna and John are the wonderful hosts. We were in room five which each morning welcomed the most stunning view of the upper valley. The breakfast served each morning was different , delicious and included hot and cold items. The surroundings of the inn are cozy, comfortable...

Having appropriate expectations and knowing what you are getting into avoids disappointments. First the pluses: This B and B is located on the Connecticut River and sits on a very private 23 acres, with a long drive and beautiful New England scenery everywhere you look. There are kayaks and canoes you can use, and a dock. The setting is spectacular,...

Great place to stay if you are visiting on parents day at camp. Unusual configuration of the bathroom with the sink and bath within the bedroom. The loo is in a separate closet enclosure. Breakfasts were very good and filling. John's recommendations for dinners were right on.
