It was a last minute trip to come and visit New England College for my daughter and we needed somewhere to stay. The Henniker House was referred to me by my daughter's Admission's Ad visor. Kate and Phil were very warm and friendly and wonderful host!!! Our room was so inviting and the breakfast was very good. I highly recommend... More

I have been coming here at least twice a year for the past five years, or so. Usually I come with a group of quilters, but I have also come with my husband and infant daughter. Phil and Kate are very accommodating and gracious hosts (even when I dripped thawed-out frozen blueberries all over their dining room rug--oops). Comments about... More

Our group spent a wonderful three days (and nights) at the Henniker House in October making spoons with Dan Dustin of the NH League of Craftsmen. I was the first in our group to arrive and Kate made me feel very welcome. I stayed in the Balcony room which looked out over the river and beautiful fall leaves. Kate provided... More

Twice a year I get to spend a week-end at Henniker House with some friends while we quilt and get caught up on each other's lives. It's a visit I always look forward to. We are a mixed age group and we all love the place. We were delighted to meet Kate's mother on one visit as she is the... More

Just back from my fall weekend visit. I go twice a year with a group of quilters, and we've been going since 2007. We found it when we were looking for a place to stay while taking classes at the quilt shop (Quilted Threads) next door. I have NEVER had a bad experience. Kate is incredibly flexible with our group... More

We were driving from Indiana to Maine and one night did not have reservations at a motel. We lucked out when we found Henniker House. It was charming, serene, restful. The river view from the deck was lovely. Kate was welcoming, helpful and thoughtful. She even offered to let me use her clothes dryer. She suggested Daniel's, a restaurant a... More

Do NOT stay here. I was really excited to stay here the weekend of my wedding. The rooms looked beautiful, and on the phone the owner, Katie, seemed very nice and helpful. As soon as we arrived all of that changed. She was rude and hostile and I was genuinely embarrassed that I brought my family to a place like... More

Thank you for the feedback I’m the owner and have clicked that I found the review helpful. Pats Peak hosts 50-60 weddings per year. In our 5 room B&B, we get about 70 room nights from weddings. Most of these guests are attending the wedding, not the bridal party. In fact, we tease with the Henniker Motel that they host... More

We stayed here as part of an Inn to Inn Tour with Granite State Vacations Bike Tour. Kate welcomed us warmly to the Inn and the town after a beautiful day on the bike. Our room was bright and sunny, the deck overlooking the river was perfect for relaxing and breakfast was amazing. Kate went out of her way to... More

Henniker House was a wonderful place to stay for the Columbus Day weekend. The married owners of the bed and breakfast were so nice and helpful. They gave plenty of advice and wanted to ensure we enjoyed our time in New England. The room we stayed in was their smallest room, but still was plenty of room for two people!... More
