It's is probably the cheapest hotel in town. clean rooms, our room had a tv and a shower. nice owner. it was also very close to most of the business including a restaurant right across the street.
The rooms are clean but basic: no fridge, microwave or coffee maker. I paid $38, which might be the cheapest in town. One nice thing is that the motel is a short walk from downtown (two blocks of businesses), including the cafe. TV/cable, coffee in office.
I stayed there overnight because the Clown Motel was full. It cost me $38 for a large room. It was clean and easy to park and management was nice. No problems - not for the luxury set, but ideal for skinflints like me. I would rather give my money to a family run motel than one of the big corporate...
