Nice hotel by the lake. The back view of the hotel was also picturesque. We booked one night, and our car had unfortunately broken down by the time we got there. Their sympathetic staff allowed us to park our car at their place for two more days for free while we rent a car and continued our Lake Tahoe trip... More

We stayed in town for one night and were pleasantly surprised at the accommodations at the Lakeside Inn. The rooms were spacious and quiet and the front desk personnel were very helpful! Just blocks from the lake and central to shopping and tourism. Not the fanciest of the South Lake Tahoe/Stateline hotels, but it is still a keeper!

If you're looking for the casino-hotel glitz and glamour experience, then you need to stay further down the street towards the California/Nevada border, or maybe hike it all the way over to Reno, as the Lakeside won't be for you. The Lakeside experience is a lot more laid-back, but probably a lot friendlier too, then you'll get at the bigger... More

Room was ok but I would like to have had a refrigerator. Also WiFi did not work in the room and for it to even connect we had to stand outside the room which was frustrating. We did not use the casino so cannot comment. Also we checked out the restaurants but found them far too expensive, so did not... More

We came across this place while walking across the United States on The Great American Walkabout. We even talked about them in our book about our journey. It was unassuming from the road, right on the border between California and Nevada, on the Lakeside. It looks just like a little two-story affair, but the rooms are excellent and so is... More

We have been coming here 3 times a year for over 4 years. We stay for 10 days at least once a year. Have loved the place in the past - great rooms (and they have started to remodel the rooms), great restaurant, and great staff (with the exception of a few). We made reservations 6 months ago for the... More

Normally I love this place... the food is generally fantastic, the staff is great, and everyone is friendly. I'm a local and go here A LOT... they've taken a lot of my money, and I'm OK with that... it's a casino after all. But if you go mid-week, and Brandon is the pit-boss... beware! He's TERRIBLE!!! What would be a... More

It's a nice place the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room rates are very reasonable and they have good service. The restaurants in the Inn are very good and you get a large amount of food for a very reasonable price.

Easy to get to casinos, ski areas, sightseeing, etc. 24 hour restaurant serves decent food around the clock. Quiet rooms mean a good night sleep. Lakeside Inn has all the comforts for a quick trip to the slopes.
