Our family visited the Tahoe Summit Village for our ski vacation with my parents, me, and my brother, his son and wife. The unit looked a little old, but was bright and clean. We were lucky enough to get a top floor unit which offered some great views of Heavenly. The staff were all cheerful and pleasant, very helpful with... More

We were assigned a center unit on the top floor. There was only one window and it faced an enclosed stairwell. Absolutely no view at all. We had read there were no elevators. The 56 stair climb to our unit was very steep and at almost about a 7,500 foot elevattion left us breathless, and we are in good physical... More

We purchased a time share at Tahoe Summit Village sight-unseen earlier this year. We finally make our trip there a few weeks ago and were pleasantly surprised. We have a 2 Bedroom + Loft which means we were on the very top floor . . . 55 stairs and no elevators. But we were warned and tried to pack appropriately.... More

Tahoe Summit Village is a super choice for a ski vacation. Near 2 Heavenly Valley lodges, it provides great access to ski both sides of the mountain, without the hassle of being in South Lake Tahoe and allows you to ski without a lot of 'transiting' to skiable terrain. There are quite a few condos to choose from, for all... More

If you are coming to enjoy all of the many activities of a fun summer vacation around Lake Tahoe, we would suggest looking for accommodations closer to the lake. Summit Village may be fine for a skiing vacation (close to lifts), but its location does not work as well in the summer. It takes a lot of driving on curvy... More

My first impression was not "wow". We arrived late in the night after a very delayed and long flight and car trip...so we were tired...my surprise was the stairs...long and hard to climb when you are tired, my second disappointment was that we had no view (at all!) from our rooms...all the way down here, in all the other options... We had the top condo with about 80 steps to climb. There is no elevator but the value is amazing. Whirlpool tub was great; roomy and the view from the top is amazing.

The hotel is a little bit difficult to find the first day if you dont have a GPS, (If you are driving from carson city make a left at 207, then a right at tramway drive). The location is excellent, is about 5 minutes from hevenly stagecoach lift or boulder lift (for beginners and have a ski school), the view... More

This was a good resort. The 2-bedroom unit we stayed in was very comfortable, the kitchen was renovated and had everything we needed. The staff were very helpful, it was very clean. However, the decor is from 1980s and the beds/pillows were uncomfortable. We liked the jet tub, which was awesome after a day of skiing. There is also a... More

Tahoe Summit Village is just minutes away from Stateline, the Casinos, Zephyr Cove and a number of other great thing to see and do. We stayed one week in a three bedroom/loft. This place has virtually everything you could need. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, utensils, soap, etc. The condo is extremely clean. The exterior of the building... More
