We wanted to avoid the casino scene and stay in a nice hotel. We chose the Renaissance and were glad we did. Great rooms, great staff and a great restaurant. Without a casino, you just can't do better.

I stay at this location for the convenience to the Las Vegas Convention Center South building for trade shows. This will be my last stay there. It was VERY disappointing. I was in the room 3 minutes, went to slide the bathroom door open and the handle fell off in my hand! The carpet has stains all over it, looking... More

The hotel is great for business trips, directly across the street from the convention center. Staff was okay, one concierge was super helpful, the other one not so much. Good drinks, food and the pool's nice but only gets sun til around 3pm. Very quiet. Easy tram ride to the strip.

Las Vegas is a place I choose to avoid for pleasure. However it's a city I have visited on conventions more than a dozen times. I don't gamble and I dont smoke, but I do appreciate good food, wine and beer...and good service. I had two nights in Renaissance and was pleased with the standard of accommodation, amenities and the... More

Started bad with a poorly educated lady passing right in front of me and jumping the line at registration. I did not say anything giving the benefit of the doubt she just needed to go quick or otherwise having an accident on line .... finished oustandingly by the front desk apologizing for the unortodox lady behavior, and giving me an... I have stayed at this hotel at least four times. It has a beautiful, quiet pool area and the rooms are nice. The property is right at the convention center and when we stayed on time we saw cool cars at the sema show. The location is right off of the strip but very convenient.

This hotel is a great location if you don't want to/can't afford to stay on the Strip but want to be close. It is at the north end - nearest to the Bellagio/Palazzo/Wynn area. It is also right next to the convention center and the Vegas monorail for easy access to the major casinos. We ate dinner one night at... More
