The Luxor casino hotel was very nice for its price. The rooms were clean and cleaned well for each stay and well supplied. There's a restaurant in the hotel called Tacos and Tequila, very good food! There is nothing I can really say about the Luxor that was bad my overall experience was...Nice.

I booked my tower non-smoking room directly from the Luxor's website for an IT conference. When I arrive, they told me that they were overbooked and were moving me to the pyramid suite instead. I told them "Thanks, but no thanks. Last time I stayed in the pyramid I couldn't sleep due to the smell of smoke, heat, and poor... More

The Luxor is still a fun hotel. The whole Egyptian theme and the pyramid is something different. The casino is still pretty good (if you like casinos). the pool is excellent. I still don't understand why the charge $4 for coffee at Starbucks in the casino Starbucks? The rooms still have high quality finishings and are large but they are... More

We made reservations and received a confirmation code for a Deluxe King room and upon our arrival and registration process, we were told that the hotel had no King rooms available and no non-smoking rooms available at all. We were told that just because we had a reservation did not guarantee that we would have a room.....what??? We had even... More

I recently spent 3 nights at teh Luxor for a business meeting. It was not bad, but it is showing its age. PROS: Restaraunts were pretty good. At at the deli, the Mexican place (Tacos & Tequila), & Tenders, the steakhouse. No complaints on food or service. Not cheap though. Poll area was nicely laid out. CONS: Music at the... More
