We stayed at David Walley's in December the week before New Years. We expected it to be busy which wasn't an issue. It seems like (between the reviews and what we experienced) they did some changing of ownerships and some slight remodeling but the resort itself was really disorganized. It seemed as though the resort, restaurant and spa were all... More

Five women left their husbands at home and enjoyed a winter getaway at Walley's Hot Springs. We had a great time. Our rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and responded immediately anytime we needed something. Soaking in the mineral pools when the temperature is in the teens is a unique experience and surprisingly pleasant! We walked into... More

Overall, the experience was okay. We will not return, however. Many members of the staff seem very new to the job and lack the level of professionalism one would expect of a resort staff. The receptionist's glittery nail polish and indifferent attitude set the tone, the saggy-pants hot springs workers didn't help, and the time share salesperson's use of profanity... More

We stayed in one of the older buildings. The room was nice. The tub knobs all fell off when we tried to turn them on! Once we got them back on - all worked fine. The towel rack fell off the wall to! The bed was fine. No complaints on the room. Was told we were in the old rooms... More

Spending summer vacation at David Walley's Resort was such a treat! You have 6-7 mineral pools to choose from. Jump in and be pampered. So relaxing and therapeutic! Afterwards have a totally awesome massage. Take a nap and be ready to have lunch or dinner at their fabulous restaurant. There's a long list of exotic dishes like Wagyu steaks, Bixen... More

The room was fantastic! It was a one bedroom with a kitchen. They thought of everything, and we enjoyed it all...from the sauna and spa tub, to the amazing views. The spa facilities were nice too. We also had a great meal at the restaurant. Very relaxing vacation. Can't wait to return. More

We stayed at David Walleys 1862 Resort because of a promotional package. It is located about 35 minutes from South Lake Tahoe. It was a get-a-way weekend for us with gaming in Tahoe. Trip back & forth is beautiful & enjoyable in the summer months. We stayed in the oldest building & given a hotel room (lockoff in timeshare terms).... More

We traded another timeshare through Trading Places for Walleys without knowing anything about it - other than closer to home. After booking the trade read the reviews (yeah, backwards) and were a bit nervous about our decision. But were very happy we went and would go again sometime if the opportunity comes up. We were in one of the Dillon... More

Nice historic property near beautiful Genoa. The property is nice and the rooms are clean but beds needs to be replaced with better quality. Biggest issue is the pools and spas need to be updated. Each day something was wrong with the pool pumps, heaters, ladders, etc. Several spas needs to be repalstered as they have extremely rough surfaces. The... More

This was our second trip there to try to decide whether to buy into Timeshare or not. Stayed in Bodie building both times. Not to bad... only bedding needs updating...flat sheets on top of a small pad, which moved with you in bed. Rest was acceptable. MOST Disappointed in how they treated us. On this occasion, I called a few... More
