Across the street from (and operated by) the Jailhouse Casino and about half a block from the Hotel Nevada casino. Nice clean reasonably priced rooms. The restaurant at the Jailhouse is excellent.

I have stayed here about 5 times. The inside rooms do not have access to sunlight but are comfy and clean. They have an excellent steakhouse and a coffee shop that has good food. The motel prices are reasonable. There is no pool connected to the property so famillies with children probably would not want these accommodations.

The room was clean but it had an overpowering smell of some kind of cleaning liquid / carpet cleaner. Don't turn the heater on, it is full of dust and smells funky. Nice enough place with friendly small town warmth. The casino is all slots, the Jailhouse restaurant has kitschy “jail cells” for your tables but the food is good and plentiful. lg. rooms good food, great place to stay and play. the new owners are extremely nice and we can all look forward to an even better jailhouse experience. good steak, good beer great fun, great people. we plan on returning next summer

I don't know what some of these negative reviewers were expecting... if you want the Ritz plan on paying for it, and don't go looking for it in a town in the middle of nowhere. I thought it was a good value for a decent room, right in the middle of everything there is to see and do in Ely.... More

We've stayed here before. The room is huge, has recliner, frig, microwave, coffeemaker w/extra packet. We stayed in the motel, across the street from the restaurant.
