Stuck in Elko for a few days along with my cat. Truck parking around back and pets accepted, ($15.00 extra). GREAT people there. Was able to beat the heat, see the sights, shop, & eat all in convenient walking distance.

For affordability, Days Inn is among the best. There were no non-smoking rooms available, but the smoking room was clean and aired out. Our roadtrip first stop was here. It was okay. Price was good, fairly clean, but not my favorite spot on our trip. People were very friendly, breakfast was very small and not worth the mention. Rooms were cramped. I would skip it next time if another spot was available going through town again, but there are worst places I'm sure!

We used Hotwire to bid on a room not knowing the area and trying to avoid the casino hotels in general. This was so disgusting and we had no way out because it was prepaid. We spent 1 night here, the front desk lady very nice. The room was small but very clean, beds were comfortable. Great value for budget minded traveler. Location is great, right on Main Street across from a great museum. Only omplaint was we were on the bottom floor and the guest upstairs had heavy feet.
