The huckleberry macaroons were excellent as was the huckleberry bear claw! Definitely worth the stop. We also had sandwiches for lunch one day. I had the vegetarian one of the day (quinoa salad). It was good, though a little odd to have quinoa in bread! Still, a much needed hearty sandwich. But go for the huckleberry macaroons.

The Mercantile Bakery is great. As another reviewer mentioned, time stops here. The ppl couldn't be nicer. Most folks are summer dwellers that leave in the fall.
