I give the Tamarack Lodge five stars because this is truly one of those "home away from home" places and we had a great time here. It's not a luxury hotel and we stayed in one of the attached cabin rooms at the front of the hotel, but it was a perfect place to start and end each day of... More

We had a great stay, highly recommend it!! The entire staff are amazing and extremely helpful. Absolutely prime location central to all activities. The beaver pond is beautiful and full of fish. If your a fisherman bring your poll and enjoy the evening/morning fishing. "Star" (the Llama) and Josie (the owners yellow lab) made the experience even better! Can't wait... More

We stayed for three nights in mid-May and enjoyed it very much. The room was nice and had a rustic feel to it--just perfect for the mountains but not for those who want luxury accommodations (which we didn't). The bfast had good variety and gave us a good start to each day. The staff were very friendly and treated us... More

Stayed in a beautifully built new cabin. Ultra comfortable, designed and crafted with many details we didn't expect. Friendly, helpful staff. Owner on premises. Highly recommend.

I stayed for four nights, and was consistently surprised and impressed with the accommodations and the service. My room was incredibly comfortable, with beautiful exposed beams and a comfortable bed. Everyone who worked there went well out of their way to helpme find interesting hikes, restaurants, and activities. I would strongly recommend this to anyone coming through the area.

On a recent stay during our Montana spring break, we were pleased with the space and full kitchen in the 2 bedroom cabin. We love coming up to the park in the quiet of the off season and this was a great alternative to tenting during the unpredictable weather. The staff were friendly and our son loved the llama and... We were greatly pleased with this gem of a place. Our unit was clean and comfortable. Just outside GNP with easy access. We fell in love with Doug and his friendly, knowledgeable staff. They told us of "Polebridge" bakery - Yum! - located in the middle of nowhere - and from there to beautiful Lake Bowman where we kayaked. They... More

We spent 3 nights here in March to do a little skiing. Most places in the area were closed. We got a basic motel-sized room at an appropriate price. Some of the summer amenities (hot tub, barbecue) weren't available that time of year, but that's reflective of the price and low occupancy of the entire area. Here's the important thing... More

We found this detached "family" cabin was perfect for our 3 generations weekend visit to Glacier National Park. We were 2 grandparents, daughter, son-in-law, 1 year old, and 4 yr. old. We had a 2 bedroom cabin w/ a futon in small living room. The small kitchen was amazingly well stocked. We cooked all our meals. there were knives, pots... More
