The rooms are nice and clean. The rooms has a rustic theme but the beds are comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The staff was friendly and the hotel bar and restaurant had a good selection of drinks and food. The bar prices are cheap, compared to other areas just outside Yellowstone. Try the "Cold Smoke" draft beer.

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past 15 years during our occassional winter trips to Yellowstone. This hotel is clean and comfortable. It is located only a few miles from Mammoth, and the trip between Gardiner and Mammoth is worthwhile by itself. The staff is friendly, and the location meets our every need.

Gardiner is an important gateway town to Yellowstone national park. If you don´t get a place in the park or find the hotels too full, the Best Western is not a bad alternative.
