Our family stayed at this first rate hotel in Big Sky, which, along with Moonlight Basin, is a stunning resort area for both winter and summer activities. We definitely are planning to return, and it's partly due to the exceptional hospitality of the staff at The Lodge at Big Sky, as well as the other folks involved in the ski,... More

Great place to stay. Close to skiing- can walk but they do have shuttle service. Clean, friendly, sufficient breakfast that's buffet and all you can eat. Super people who work there- always trying to make your stay better. Can't get any better value for your money. Hot tubs that work, coffee and hot chocolate 24/7, fireplace in cozy lobby, flavored... Recently stayed at The Lodge with my 17 yr old son for a spring ski trip. The hotel is located on the mountain, walking distance to the lifts. They also provide a shuttle that will take you to/from the mountain on your schedule. All of the employees are very nice. This property is a better value than the "official" hotels... More

The staff at The Lodge were the friendliest I have ever come across. The location was perfect for skiers and the atmosphere was great. The 4th floor rooms had super high ceilings which was really nice. The free breakfast was nice with perfect views of The mountain. I definitely stay here again!

First, excellent location. 400 yards from the lift, but a) totally walkable and b) Glenn Campbell (i'm not kidding) will give you a lift anytime you want to go up or you can call to be picked up. i guess i should write 400 yards away but $hundreds less. Second, total bargain hotel. despite what others have said about it... More

The staff was so friendly here, but a few amenities could be improved. Beds and bedding were outdated and a bit uncomfortable. Fitness room had old machines. The other suggestion would be to get satellite radio, as the skipping CDs and listening to Barry Manilow everyday ruined the nice atmosphere by the fireplace. Again, your staff made up for these... Although not the fanciest lodge on the mountain, this little hotel had it all. Nice indoor pool and outdoor hot tubs to enjoy a snowy evening, intimate little bar set up for after a day on the hill, and quite large continental breakfast each morning. The rooms were quite big and clean - the beds were ok but not the... More

My party stayed at this hotel while in Big Sky for a conference during winter. Our experience was fantastic. It is a short walk to the main village and ski slopes. If you chose not to walk, they offer a free shuttle service to anywhere in the area. The room was comfortable and spacious with outstanding views. We chose this... More

My wife and I stayed at The Lodge for seven nights in February 2012. On arrival the staff lets us check in early (9am) which was a great help. Our room was spacious and clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was a good size. A very adequate buffet breakfast was available in the mornings. There was a... More

It was like staying with a rich uncle. They were very nice, wonderful lodge atmosphere with outdoor jacuzzis, firepit, lounge with fireplace and bar and free breakfast and Internet. Beautiful mountain setting, walking from base camp, free shuttle and spacious room with fridge.
