On Norfolk they use the term "Resort" rather loosely but Governors Lodge is one of the better places to stay. It consists of 55 cabin tyoe accommodation, neat and tidy and all you need. Staying at Governor's Lodge Resort is probably the best & most convenient accommodation on the Island. The duty free shopping is a bit outdated and there are no bargains to be had - that we could find anyway. The local supermarket is a bit sad so self catering is quite difficult to cope with. Very nice accommodation and about a 20 minute walk to shops and a few restaurants including the Chinese restaurant which is the only BYO restaurant on the island.
