Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This amazingly friendly hotel is situated quite close to the shopping precinct. They can hire you a cute little cube car, perfect for island exploration. The local tour companies will fix You up with tours , including a progressive dinner at 3 local homes. Make sure to spend freely on this island which is almost completely dependant on the tourist trade.

The South Pacific Resort Hotel was a lovely resort in a beautiful setting, within walking distance to the town centre. My room was very comfortable within a short walking distance to the dining room, cafe and other facilities in the hotel.

We stayed here with a group of 30+ seniors and enjoyed every minute of this lovely resort. The staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms clean and adequate with balcony views over the valley. Food was mostly good, and plenty of it, especially the breakfasts. I would surely recommend this for a stay on Norfolk Island.

We booked 2 rooms for ourselves and daughters. The rooms were well maintained and provided everything we needed. The resort is conveniently located within an easy walk of all services, and a great central lcoation for driving around the island. I cannot praise the beautiful staff highly enough. They are friendly and helpful. We felt like a part of the family.

great location, absolutely wonderful staff, food very good and rooms large and clean. This is not a new resort but it is very very good. Walk to everywhere. We had bicycles but NI is not really good for bikes. Narrow cobbled roads and quite steep climbs. Cars are easy, and the hotel has/arranges them.

I stayed at South Pacific Resort with a tour group, on a 7 night stay. Everything about this hotel was fabulous. We were offered a fully cooked breakfast each day, which had plenty of options. Most nights, our group dined in the hotel restaurant, where we had a choice of 2 mains and 2 sweets. The trumpeter fish is to die for!!!!! As well, the head chef was amazing. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A group of us hired a small car for one day at a cost of just $55. Incredible stuff. So easy to organise, as it was done thru the hotel. Then only $11 to fill at the end of the day. Beautiful swimming pool and plenty of areas around the hotel to sit and chat. The room was of an older style, but had heaps of room, was very clean and nice hot shower. Very close to town, just a short walk. Highly recommend this wonderful establishment.

The staff where so helpful and always friendly nothing was a problem. Great location being only a few minutes walk to the town centre, clubs restaurants and coffee shops. Continental breakfast was included but you can also order a fully cooked a la cart in the restaurant. Did not have any other meals in house as there were so many other options on the island we wanted to try. Rooms were clean and tidy, serviced each day apart from Sundays and public holidays. Beautiful out door pool area and function centre with great views of the town and mountains. We were totally satisfied with the style of accommodation and service offered.
