We came in for a large convention - no other rooms available, otherwise we would have checked out. Close to downtown. I will give them that. No breakfast on Saturday; trash from the day before still in the receptacles. "What do you want ME to do about it?" Broken tile in bathroom, peeling paint and damaged drywall in the shower/tub.... Residence Inn Union Hill 2975 Main St. Kansas City, Mo., 64108 Another Residence Inn, nothing special, good location and the price was the lowest of all the Residence Inn's in Kansas City. My wife and I always try to stay in Residence Inn's when we travel. You always know what the room will be like and the area around them... More

We are very glad that you enjoyed our hotel and service. Our renovation is actually scheduled for this year. We hope that you enjoyed the flat screen televisions and stainless steel appliances, new cabinetry and granite countertops. We are replacing most of the rest of the suite furniture and fixtures before year end. Please come back and see our progress! More

We came into town on Easter weekend we didn't know how the hotel would be because of the holiday. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. We had breakfast every morning but they did a great job on Easter Sunday with extended hours and good food. Our room was fantastic and in such a great location. Only 1 1/2 miles... More

We visited KC to see the WW1 Museum. This Res Inn was 3 minutes away and worked well for us. The staff are very nice and the rooms are clean but it is time to do an update. Understand one is soon to occur.

Room was nice and staff was very helpful. Convenient to downtown activities such as the sprint center and good dining choices. Only negative is complete lack of soundproofing! Sounded like our neighbor was showering in our bathroom. And the heard of elephants upstairs was almost unbearable the first night. They must have found a different watering hole the 2nd night.... Nothing particularly fancy here, but the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fine, the hotel was crowded, but the woman taking care of keeping breakfast area clean and stocked did a great job. If there is a downside to this hotel, its the location. You're about 2 miles from the Convention Center and Power and Light district. The... More

I travel extensively and find this Marriott location to be only average. The thing that bothers me most at Marriott Residence Inn locations is they are touted as extended stay hotels. Thus you expect the range/oven, refrigerator etc for the apartment experience for long term stay for travelers and or business people (like me). So when I arrive at one... More

I've stayed at this Residence Inn several times over the years for business. In 2011 I've stayed a week in June and another week in September. The room was clean, breakfasts good, and the nights of complimentary food and drink very nice. The staff was always friendly and helpful. A special thanks to the van drivers, Henry and DJ, who... Hard to get to location. If you drive by the hotel, you'll miss the entrance. Old style RI where you have to walk up to your room. The housekeeping staff sprays too much of the deoderizing in the room...very offensive. Beds were comfortable, AC worked great, the bathrooms are tight and a need to be refreshed. Breakfast was usual fare... More
