Stayed one night w/ our dog. Nice hotel, very friendly staff, room was very adequate if a little dated (king bedroom). Hotel was very clean. Nice hot buffet breakfast, good location right off interstate. Very quiet hotel. Good hotel but a little overpriced IMO.

No problem here; this was a clean and comfortable hotel with an indoor pool and plenty of places to eat close by. The internet connection was little on the slow side, but it was free. EA

We continue to be very impressed with Drury Inn & Suites and have now stayed at a variety of sites. This Joplin location was just what we had hoped for after a day of driving. We missed the evening cocktails but were able to enjoy the tasty breakfast in the morning. The desk attendant was very pleasant and accommodating. The... More

We were traveling with a 65 lb, 15 year old German Shepherd so our road trip options from Milwaukee to and from South Padre Island during February 2012 were limited. Staying at Drury Inns made life easy. No hassle about getting a first floor for the dog. The free drinks, snacks and full breakfast was a great surprise. Rooms clean... More

The most important thing to me is clean rooms. This hotel had very clean rooms! We always look for a hotel with a restaurant within walking distance. Outback, Bob Evans, & Steak & Shake were all very close. When we checked in, we each received a ticket for 3 free drinks (either alcohol, or non-alcohol) at the evening happy hour.... More

My husband and I just moved from Rochester, NY to El Paso, TX and stayed at the Joplin, MO Dury on our lrip. I planned our route so we could stay at Drury properties for the entire trip to El Paso because our 2 Miniature Schnauzers could stay with us at no extra charge - something hard to find as... More

I stay at Drury hotels a lot. I like knowing that there will be a mini fridge & microwave in the room, free high speed internet access, and evening snacks if I want them. Drury also has lots of television channels unlike other chains that try to force guests to rent high priced in-room movies because there are only five... More

Spent a quick overnight "in transit" here. Hotel is older but has been well-maintained and updated superficially. A bit careworn (cigarette burns on the shelf in the bathroom), but not a terrible place to spend a night. Not sure Joplin has much better to offer, alas.

I try to stay at a Drury whenever I have the ability. I travel a lot, and the Drury is always one-up from the rest that my employer budgets for. The evening kick-back (appetizers/happy hour) is great. I look forward to it all day at work. This particular hotel is convenient to restaurants and the interstate. The staff was excellent;helpful;friendly.... More

Stayed one night at the Drury Inn Joplin while traveling for Christmas vacation. Drury is very convenient to access, first hotel off the interstate (easy to find and access). Surrounded by plenty of restaurants as well (Bob Evans, Outback, Olive Garden, Cheddar's, etc), so if you do not make the 5:30-7 pm kickback like we did, getting a bite is... More
