24-April -> 5-May 2012 Initially we only planned to stay at Tara's for 6 nights and explore the surrounding region and then move further north for the 2nd week of our stay in Tassie. However our kids and us loved it so much we returned after only 2 nights away and to stay there for the rest of our holiday.... More

What a wonderful place to escape from all the stress of life. After a week at Tara's we couldn't have felt more relaxed. Tara made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Had a lovely stay with our 3 kids (6,4 & 7 months). Lots of space for our family. Master bedroom for us and the baby, with the boys in the large separate living area. Big bathroom. “Best 'time out' ever”

I've stayed twice now and find that the accommodation is very comfortable and a great place to relax. The open spaces surrounded by beautiful hills provides an ideal backdrop to be enjoyed whilst sitting outside on the patio enjoying coffee, fresh air and watching the animals. A beautiful stay with our two kids (5&7). We all enjoyed feeding the animals, picking fruit and veggies for snack. Good location close to everything else (Hobart, beach and plenty of wineries). Tara and Daniel are delightful. Everyday delicious home baked fresh bread! You will love staying here

“Excellent place to stay”

Excellent place to stay, great value for money, very welcoming hosts. No traffic noise. Room is very spacious and very nicely decorated. Very well suited for either a quite night away or as a place to stay for a family. Highly recommended. We really enjoyed our night there in December 2011.

“Lovely stay”

loved it at Taras. Kids had a great time and loved feeding the animals. Spent hours picking and eating raspberries. Rooms were lovely, breakfast was scrumptious ( especially Taras homemade jams). Highly recommend this place to others. Fantastic!

HIghly recommended. We stayed three days and the accommodation was wonderful. Spacious: Large bedroom, large kitchen/lounge, large bathroom, clean, quiet (no traffic), Tara is so friendly. Good parking.
