Naylamp is fabulous. The location is ideal- just north of the center of town, directly across from a nice stretch of beach. Don´t be fooled by the low-key front door! This is a great hostel, to the point that you could easily just stay there for a couple of weeks and relax (although don´t come expecting white sand and turquoise water). Naylamp is a great choice for a stay in Huanchaco. The hostel is located towards the northern end of the beach but with in great walking distance to all the restaurants, and the beach. Naylamp is a cool place. Hotel, hostel, restaurant, bar, bakery, campsite, and hammock heaven. Ivone was at the front desk every day. She patiently listened to our broken Spanish (we discovered later that she spoke some English!), and she helped us through every travel need from "where is the grocery store?" to "what tour should we take to the ruins?"...
