If you stay in this Domaine, I would advise to try the Chambre Sonates . It was perfectly quiet and the view is just spectacular. It has a nice indoor patio allowing sunbathing in your room while you can enjoy the view on the mountains. The place is also ideal for walks on the hills. There is also possibility to... More

Spent some time there part of a family holiday, and was genuiy impressed by almost everything. Rooms: they vary as each has a given theme (think african, indian, french monarchy, etc.). Sometimes a bit tacky, but always a good change from standard hotel rooms. Overall they provide good amenities. Some of us were in the annex, "maison des ecureuils". The... More

We were booked for two nights and stayed one. The setting is beautiful and the staff were very helpful, particularly the sommelier, David, and all the front desk personnel. We booked a “Deluxe Room” with a balcony. The room was small and the balcony was ludicrous…it was approximately 6’ by 6’ with no chairs. We were there on a Sunday... More

The hotel room was disapointing, very small and standard. I stayed in "Amandine" De Luxe room and certanly not worth the price. Hotel location is very beutiful and peaceful but deluxe room overprice for what it is. Restaurant is excellent, though, most of the waiters and service did not speak english.

Set on the hillside above Cruseilles, between Geneva and Annecy, the chateau (ironically built by a wealthy English lady at the turn of the 20thC) has incredible sweeping views across rolling countryside to the mountains beyond. Beautiful in winter as well as summer. We've stayed here 3 times now on the way from the airport and never been disappointed. The... More

I have been to this hotel 10 or more times, some for dinner, some for cocktails on the garden after a day shopping in Annecy, and a few to spend the night. I have always been impressed with the staff and ambiance of this spectacular hotel. The location is perfect for Annecy, flying in and out of Geneva, a trip... More

I took my husband to the Chateau des Avenieres for his birthday. We chose a "Bien Etre" package which includes 2 massages, dinner at the restaurant and breakfast. We had a beautiful room with a lovely view on Lac d'Annecy and the Alps. The massage was really good and the food was out of this world. A bit pricey, but... More
