Very friendly hosts! And their two dogs too :) The food was delicious and beautiful served. Thanks!
We had higher expectations for this auberge based on reviews on TA and from the pictures we found on the web. We were warmly greeted by Suzanne who is a delightful person and very helpful in providing advice on things to do in the area of Annecy for a one day visit. The food offered was average and the wine...

Wrote a review after staying at Hotel Camelia in mid July 2011. It was on the screen after posting it but has disappeared from all reviews recently. Any ideas why the removal of the post?
We stayed here in July 2011 and liked the place a lot. The hosts had excellent ideas about places to be seen and we valued their kind advice. The hotel is clean and the hosts are kind and friendly. The nature around the hotel is stunning, with great views over the surrounding villages. I would highly recommend this place to...

Planning to sleep on the Plateau de Glières, where by accident all hostels were closed that day, my brother and I found refuge after hours of hiking at this wonderful charming Auberge Camelia next to the Tête du Parmelan. We liked the cosy reception by the owners Sue, Roger & the helping hands (including the lovely dogs).
After a delicious...

We live part time in France, and this was a long sightseeing motor trip to places we had not yet visited. We stayed here 3 days and truly enjoyed ourselves. We were travelling with Louie our dog and, if possible, Louie had an even better time than we did playing with Django. We did day trips to visit Plateau des...
