Don't listen to the negative reviews. The house is choke full of history, is gorgeous, and well maintained. We stayed in the Mezzanine room (king bed) and the room was huge. Formerly an apartment I believe. Our hosts were gracious and breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed the house tour and going to the top floor and seeing most of downtown Hannibal.

We really loved our stay at Robards Mansion: it is beautiful inside and outaside, the breakfast is delicious and the hosts are very welcoming and accomodating. It is within walking distance from all downtown attractions. If we go back to Hannibal we will definitely stay at Robards Mansion again.

I recently stayed at Robards Mansion and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I was traveling to see family and felt very safe staying by myself in this beautiful house. The owners were friendly and helpful. Breakfast every morning was delicious and plentiful. I would definitely recommend Robards Mansion to everyone I know!
