The halls reek of curry and cleaning chemicals. The carpets are torn up, and the walls are stained.
And when we discovered that 3 of the 4 light bulbs in our room were dead, we called the manager to change them. He actually told us to buy our own light bulbs, as he didn't have any more. After a short argument and a demand for a refund, he finally agreed to change the light bulbs himself.
