Situated a little out of the way from most of the Gulfport hotels Magnolia Bay Hotel and Suites is a decent hotel at a decent price. With a cost that was noticably cheaper than other chain hotels in the area and a complimentary breakfast... What's… not to love. Indoor pool and hottub, workout room, laundry and dining close at hand.... More

This was a very enjoyable and comfortable hotel. Well decorated inside and out. Clean throughout. Friendly staff. Our room, non-smoking on second floor, was exceptional. Two very comfortable queen beds, a sleeper sofa, double vanity sink, heavy furniture, nice office desk and chair. Coffee brewer, frig, and good climate control unit. Rate included a breakfast buffet consisting of numerous breads,... More

This is a recently refurbished hotel just west of Gulfport on Interstate 10. We found the accommodations to our liking so we stayed there again on our way back home from Texas. Magnolia Bay is a simple, clean hotel. Not a lot of frills or luxury. You will find some nicks, dings, and foibles around the property. Everything was recently... More

My husband and I are in the middle of schlepping the Uhaul across the U.S. so our hotel needs may differ from the norm. We really wanted a hotel that was (a) convenient to I-10; (b) clean and not scary; (c) located within walking distance of a sit-down restaurant; and (d) free wi-fi, parking, and breakfast. Crystal Inn (now renamed... More

Our ball team stayed there for a softball tournament in June. We ask the front desk if we could check out after our game if we lost out and they assured us that we could check out without being charged, but when the time came for us to check out they allowed us to do so but we were charged... More

My husband and I tried to sneak away for a quiet peaceful weekend. We chose Crystal Inn. We stayed there years ago. Upon arriving, the hotel was under renovation. When we entered our room, a CHEAP motel is what we entered. The room smelled of smoke, when I went to sit on the sofa, I sunk into it. We were... More

Traveled to Gulfport and a found the Crystal Inn to a clean reasonably priced place to stay. Breakfast was so much more than your average motel fare. Would recommend to anyone. The Mississippi Gulf Coast is welcoming and ready for visitors. While the road into the motel needs some work, the in room microwave and refrigerator were very nice. The... More

The driveway off the main road was dark/elusive. But, the staging area was roomy and well lit. I don't usually stay at "budget" hotels, but this was a "budget" trip, and I was making sacrifices ( I thought). Though areas (carpeting) were threadbare and worn, the room was clean (most important) and the bed comfortable. There were many ammenities usually... More

This hotel is erroneously listed as pet friendly on several websites. THIS IS NOT TRUE. Imagine my surprise after arriving after a long drive and told quite rudely by the staff pets are not allowed. They did let me stay with a stiff fee, after I pointed out the reservation was made several days ago with the pets declared, and... More

Upon entering the lobby to check in, the first thing that I noticed was the overwhelming smell of mildew. The room fortunately did not smell like mildew and upon first glance, appeared clean. Was I surprised when I turned back the sheets on the bed! The sheets apparently not had been changed because they were very wrinkled as if someone... More
