Even though we only stayed one night it was very enjoyable. Helen & Colin are wonderful hosts. Helen got her flashlight & showed us a tree frog. Breakfast was delicious. Helen gave us a tour of their beautiful yard. We spent the morning at the Billabong Sanctuary, just 5 minutes drive from Alligator Creek B&B. We loved feeding the kangaroos... More

It was a pleasure to welcome you to Alligator Creek. I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay - there was no doubting that the boys enjoyed their breakfast and it's great to see my cooking so appreciated! I hope we can welcome you back again for a longer stay one of these days. More

The B&B and especially it's hosts are wonderful. Watch kangaroos from your room, meet turtles in the garden and get a lot of hints what to do in the surroundings. We stayed there two nigts and were very sad when we had to leave.

Helen & Colin greeted us on our arrival. This is a true B & B, Modern and comfortable but with a true old fashioned approach. They were both very easy and interesting to talk to. Helen proudly showed us around their property, which could make you envious. They were willing to advise on the area and things that might interest.... More

I recently spent 4 nights with Helen and Colin whilst I was in Townsville on business. this is another fantastic B&B that I've added to my list and is a fantastic alternative for business travellers who like something more personal than another hotel. The delicious breakfasts were great and the chats with Colin and Helen while it was cooking was... More

Thanks for a lovely review, Bob. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay - we enjoyed your company too. The best thing about running a B&B is getting to know such lovely people and we really enjoy giving them the individual attention that is lacking in so many accommodation options. My family (2 adults, child and Grandad) stayed a couple of nights whilst on business in Townsville CBD, it was close enough to be convenient but far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. Helen and Colin are charming and considerate hosts who went that extra mile to make us feel comfortable and relaxed. The breakfast was delicious and we... More

So glad you enjoyed your stay with us. It was the first time we had had a 3-generation guest family and it was delightful to meet you all. It was great that you managed to get a brief glimpse of our illusive turtles and that you took the opportunity to have a walk in the National Park nearby. We hope... More
